New Planning Application

HYRO Energy Limited received planning consent in August 2024, for the Northfleet Green Hydrogen Electrolyser production and storage facility on land at Kimberly-Clark’s Northfleet manufacturing facility off Crete Hall Rd, Northfleet, Gravesend DA11 9AD.

To optimise the efficiency of the green hydrogen project, a small number of changes are needed to the consented scheme and HYRO Energy Limited have now submitted a new planning application.

A statutory consultation period will be advertised and held by Gravesham Borough Council to enable the public, as well as statutory consultees, to submit their comments on the proposal. These comments will then be assessed against the proposal and a determination made in due course.
